The Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the biggest attractions in North Carolina, is
open 365 days a year, but may temporarily close due to bad weather. So as not to

View B&B and Cabin is located in the Pisgah National Forest, less than 4
miles from an entrance to the scenic Parkway.
All along the Parkway, you
will observe numbered mileposts. Starting in Shenandoah National Park, near
Waynesboro, VA (mile marker 0), to the Great Smoky Mts National Park, near
Cherokee, NC, there are 469 miles of meandering road with gorgeous views around
most corners. Asheville and Boone are the largest North Carolina cities
along the way.
Alluring View B&B is
located about a scenic half hour drive on the Parkway from Boone and Blowing
Rock. Speed limits
are strictly enforced on the Parkway and the fines are high, so drive the speed
limit and enjoy the view.
